Ajmer


Ajmer is one of the most famous destinations in India when it comes to the spiritual tourism. In fact, this region merged with Rajasthan after independence. From here, the beauty of the Aravali hills is quite visible. Ajmer is famous for the dargah of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moin Ud din Chisti, one of the greatest saints of India when we talk of Sufism. It is said that emperor Akbar had visited Ajmer barefooted for the boon of a son. In the present times, there is a heavy rush of the pilgrims to this place because of the saint and on the day of the annual urs....
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and this is also called the cultural city or the city of cuisines. One feels a great experience on seeing the finest monuments of heritage and these include the palaces and the forts. The city of Jaipur is famous for some of the world class heritage hotels and one of them is the Raj palace having the world's second costliest maharaja suite as far as the tariff is concerned. Jaipur is also called the pink city because of the fact that the monuments here are pink in color.

Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is among the star destinations of Rajasthan when it comes to the tourism and the place is also called as golden city. This region is primarily famous for a special fort called Jaisalmer fort built by the legendary Maharawal Jaisal more than nine hundred years before. Later visit Pushkar, famous for having the only Brahma Temple in the world. It is situated on the bank of holy Pushkar Lake where the World famous Pushkar fair held. Later drive back to Ajmer for night halt.

Day 06: Ajmer - Jaipur
Early this morning, you will be transferred by road to the pink city of Jaipur (221 kms / 5 hrs), enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure OR take an optional tour of the ethnic Rajasthani village of Chokhi Dhani. Stay Overnight.
Day 07: Arrive Delhi
Early morning transfer by road to Delhi & check in hotel. This afternoon, you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi, visiting the Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, Raj Ghat and the Red Fort & Jama Masjid. You drive past the imposing India gate and the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The evening is at leisure or takes an optional tour to the Red Fort for the sound & light show. Stay Overnight.

Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honour) is next attraction which has several fountains, pools & decorated with chiseled pavilions & elephants. Later visit Jagdish Temple, the largest & the most beautiful temple of Udaipur. Evening go for a boat ride on Lake Pichola to enjoy breathtaking sunset. Later return to hotel for night halt.
Day 04: Udaipur- Mount Abu (190 kms/5 hrs)
Morning, check-out from the hotel & transfer to Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan, situated admit the lush surroundings of Aravali hills at an altitude of 1,220 mtrs. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later visit famous Dilwara Jain Temple Complex, built between 11th to 13th centuries AD in beautiful lush green hills surrounding. Day 05: Mount Abu-Jodhpur (325 Kms/7 hrs)
Morning, check-out from the hotel & transfer to Jodhpur, famous as the 'Jewels of Rajasthan & named after its founder Rao Jodha. It is also known as the 'Blue City' as most of the houses of the old city is painted blue. This desert city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, with 101 bastions and seven gates. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later visit 5 Kms long Mehrangarh Fort situated on a 125m high Rocky hill, Jaswant Thada, Ummaid Bhawan Palace & Museum.
